Daniel Stempfer
Berlin based installation artist, Daniel Stempfer, explores the link between science and technology in his unique and thought provoking works.
Having contributed to exhibitions including “Crystal Readings” at Soy Captain in 2015, Stempfer has familiarised himself with the process of crystallisation and how this can be reinterpreted in independent artworks.

For Harmonic Ratios he proposes “Warm White”: several Slinky spirals ordered by color and stretched across the room to create a gradient field. A rain poncho presses against it by an electric fan, making the field vibrate slightly. This explores crystallization as not a complete stop of movement, but rather a reduction to a minimum.
